Harmonia is pretty darn easy to use. In the programming example below, we'll quickly demonstrate how to use its awesome sweep-through-harmonics capabilities. Off we go!

  • Click the New button in the top left corner to create an initialized patch.

  • While holding a note, move Oscillator 1's Center slider back and forth. Neat, right?

  • Now try adjusting the orange Width knob. Move the Center slider as well.

  • Around now you're thinking, "This is swell, but it would be nice if the Center and Width knobs could move themselves, because mouse/trackpad movement is exhausting." We hear you.

Return the Center control to 1, and make sure the Width knob is up a little bit.

Turn the LFO section Bias knob fully clockwise (notice the dashed line in the Wave display moves to the bottom), then turn the Center Mod knob to the right. Beautiful morphing waves!

This is the crux of how Harmonia's interpolated scanning harmonic oscillators work. A ton of cool sounds can be created by simply selecting different Waveform samples and Harmonics Presets, and manipulating the LFO controls.

Check out the Oscillator 1 & 2 section for a full breakdown of Harmonia oscillator functionality.
