The Voltage Modular Miniverse Noise module faithfully replicates the Mini's noise section. It's not apparent from the front panel, but the original instrument actually contains white, pink, and red noise generators (the red noise gets used in mod applications).
Outputs
All three outputs include mono and poly jacks. This makes adding noise in a poly patch easier where all the I/O is already using poly jacks.
White- A random signal in which all frequencies across the frequency spectrum are represented equally.
Pink- A random signal in which each octave is represented equally across the frequency spectrum . Pink noise will sound duller to the ear than white noise, and as a control signal, will be less likely to output higher frequencies.
Red- A random signal more heavily weighted toward low frequencies. It's used for modulation in the original Mini.
